lol sorry this is my buddies profile, i have yet to make one but i have a completely stock tt nothing done to it. i have checked for codes and nothing. i just replaced the spark plugs with ngk 6b11b and gap at 34. the guy that i bought it from had bosch and they were for an na. i have a boost leak tester but forgot it at my house which happens to be an hour away. but now im wodering about timing. the guy said he put a timing belt on but im either wondering if he did it right or if the crank angle sensor is bad. just timed it today and it was at 30 (screws in the middle) and i took it down to 15 (screws maxed out to the left). the funny thing is that it was running better at 30 than it is at 15. a lot of back fire and no power. im wondering if the crank angle sensor is bad?
